My name is Sonny Hassan, founder of SH+A in 2015. I have 25 years, experience as a leading workplace consultant and space activist. The implications of workplace planning are more complex and involved than perceived and failure to ‘get it right first time’ is a costly exercise.

Mentored by Frank Duffy and John Worthington, acclaimed architects and leading thinkers in this field, Sonny, initiated work with them in the 1990’s at DEGW as Project Manager and Design Team Leader, delivering a new, award winning HQ for Boots the Chemists. He then joined HOK International as an Associate Director, going on to join to CBRE, Global Leaders in Corporate Real Estate as Head of Workplace Consultancy, where he led several workplace transformations and change management projects. This involved the realignment of business objectives with real estate goals, understanding space, its utilization and workplace management. Sonny has worked with small to medium sized enterprises, SME’s, with employees ranging from 50 – 250, to FTSE 100 organisations and multinationals with 1000’s of employees around the world.
Sonny’s experience has included delivering; transformation of the MOD Main building and New Cabinet Offices in Whitehall, PZ Cussons new HQ in Manchester and real estate reviews for the London Stock Exchange, the Borsa Italiana and AstraZeneca. With his 25 years in workplace consultancy Sonny has worked alongside many experts in their varying specialist fields of IT, furniture and change management, who SH+A continue to work with as each project requires, cherry picking the right companies for each client.
