Brief
Seconded by HOK International to the Principal Contractor SKANSA, under a PFI contract, to deliver the workplace transformation of the MoD’s “Main Building” in Whitehall.
Approach
My initial responsibility with a team of two, was the decant strategy of the MoD’s property portfolio in Whitehall, comprising of five buildings, during the refurbishment of the Main Building. This comprised of move-managing some 1,400 personnel, entailing liaising with the Principal Contractor, Ministry and department heads/aids, and the various moves teams employed on the project.
Outcome
In conjunction with the decant programme, I led a team of three, to space plan the “post fit-out” re-occupation of the Main Building and the associated ‘moves’ management.
